Ordering and Delivery

Ordering

Ordering is as simple as adding your chosen items to the cart and checking out using our secure payment merchant, Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account to purchase goods from us. Paypal will accept your debit or credit card during the checkout process if you prefer not to use a registered Paypal account. 

We will send you an order confirmation email once you have placed your order with us.

A second email will be sent out when we start making your items. 

A final email will be sent to when we have shipped your order.

Once you have selected the the items you wish to purchase, you can login to your account to check out, or register a new account with us if you have not yet done so. 

When you have completed the checkout stage, you will receive a confirmation email stating the items which you have ordered.

When I come to prepare your order, I will send another email telling you where we are with your order.

Shipping Cost   £4   for orders  £30.00 - £49.99

This shipping is still subsidised by us as the normal price just for the postage is £3.65 for 1st Class recorded packets up to 750g, and £5.25 from 751g-1000g. This is only insured up to maximum of £20.

Your little gumnut shipment

Once your items are wrapped and packaged, ready to post, I will send a "ready to ship" notice to you. Your goods are now ready to be posted, if you receive your ready to ship notice before 4pm on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday, your goods should be sent that day using Royal Mail. If otherwise, they will be taken on the next postal run.

Heavy Parcels: please note that products listed as heavy items will not be sent using Special Delivery, if you choose this option your order will processed slower and you may be asked to cover the costs of actual postage. If the total parcel goes over 20kg, we will bill you for the total postage charge of £24.50.

Adding to an order: If you have recently placed an order which you have not yet had a shipping confirmation email for, you may add to your order my checking in the normal way with your items and choosing "add to previous order" at the postage selection stage. There may be a small increase in postal charges, I will invoice you if necessary if the total weight of your new order exceeds the postal rate previously paid for. Your goods will not be shipped until the invoice is settled. 

If you have not received you order within 5 days of receiving confirmation of dispatch and your tracking email, If a tracking option was chosen for postage,  you can track your order by clicking on the link in the track your shipment email or by logging into your account and selecting the order you wish to track.

We are not liable for any loss incurred by late delivery or lost post. Once it is in the of Royal Mail, we are no longer responsible for your item. This does not affect your statatory or DSR rights. 

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.
